Our Story

2022

Our journey started in 2022, our founder, Richard Riddell setting up with 1x employee (who is still with us today, Allen!) Shortly after that Rob joined us.

Fast forward to 2024 we’re now 8x full-time fully employed staff with Richard and Rob in the office. You’ll speak to one of us (we are recruiting for an operations assistant to join in 2025).

At The Home Group, we are committed only employing staff that are reliable, follow our processes for job reporting and qualified and experienced and can communicate with our customers.

First Time Fixing

The majority of our clients prefer us to fix faults, issues on the first visit. We’re operationally organised and efficient so are set-up to do so if you need.

Optimised Operations

Our operations are good as are our staff. We know what we’re doing and we only recruit skilled and experienced staff that follow our operational process. It helps to standardise and maintain a high quality of workmanship.

Strong Communication

We’re good at communications. If it’s an email, message or quote that you’d like you can expect a reply within minutes from us. You’ll not be waiting days for us to get back to you. The same goes with your job. You’ll hear from our team when they’re on the way to you and you’ll be able to speak to them whilst they’re there too.
